Snow Hill Roslyn Street Restaurant and Bar


Located in King’s Cross, Sydney, this restaurant and bar was
designed by Durbach Block Architects and won this year’s AIA
NSW Chapter Sir Arthur G. Stephenson Award for Commercial
Architecture. The four story building was completed in September
2009 and includes the aforementioned ground floor restaurant
and bar, with office space and a lovely triangular rooftop garden.
Its facade is composed of white and buff colored tiles, and is
punctuated by unevenly sized windows.






Durbach Bloch ways on their website that the forms
and materials implemented are a response to the colorful
character of the suburb.
